| 5.3.1 The President |
a) Serves as the highest SEEPAD official;
b) Chairs meetings of the Council and General Assembly;
c) Represents SEEPAD on relations with judicial and physical persons, without
having to present a power of attorney;
d) Organizes control over the fulfillment of decisions of the General Assembly
and Council;
e) Supervises the financial and economic activities of SEEPAD as its highest
official;
f) Submits to Council for discussion a semi-annual report of SEEPAD's activities;
and
g) Supervises the management of the property and funds of SEEPAD in accordance
with the decision of the Council.
